1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by GDM to you, the customer. By purchasing from GDM, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice. Any changes will apply to orders placed after the date of the change.
2. Products: JetSled associated products and DSC1&2 products and Pricing.
2.1. All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale at any time.
2.2. Prices are inclusive of any VAT payable in full at point of order unless otherwise stated. Prices are correct at the time of publication and purchase via the website and are subject to change without notice.
2.3. We will take reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products appearing on the website are accurate. However, we do not guarantee that the product descriptions, prices, or other content available on the website are error-free.
3. Orders and Payment.
3.1. All orders for all Products are subject to GDM acceptance and availability.
3.2. Once an order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This email is an acknowledgment and does not constitute acceptance of your order.
3.3. GDM reserve the right to refuse any order placed by you for any reason.
3.4. Payment for all Products must be made in full at the time of placing the order. We accept the payment methods shown on GDM website store only.
4. Delivery of JetSled and associated products.
4.1. We aim to dispatch orders within 48hours, but delivery times may vary depending on availability and any delays outside GDM control.
4.2. Delivery will be made to the address specified by you at the time of order. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to goods once they have been delivered to the address provided.
4.3. Details of delivery method and tracking will be provided for each order pleaced.
4.4. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery.
5. Cancellation and Returns of JetSled and associated products;
5.1. You have the right to cancel your order for JS1, JSjr, Covers, Hitch, wear runners and JS1Trailer® under the goods under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Unless your order has been fulfilled, in which case returns are covered below.
5.2. To cancel your order, you must inform us by email.
5.3. If you cancel an order after it has been dispatched, you must return the goods to us in their original condition and packaging at your own expense including tracking “signed for” as a minimum.
5.4. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that they have been returned.
6. FATF Learning Provider T&C including cancellations and costs.
6.1. The FATF have accredited GDM as a Learning Provider for FATF courses and will support, subject to application and award 100% of the costs for two GDM provided Deer Management Qualifications, Deer Stalking Certificate 1 and Deer Stalking Certificate 2.
6.2. Applications for the fund can be made online via https://www.gov.uk/guidance/forestry-training-fund.
6.3. The grant award will only be paid for training that has been approved against the application for grant funding submitted and specifically for GDM that is DSC1 and DSC2.
6.4. Candidates with FATF must provide GDM, via email, the detail of their grant award and unique grant award number prior to booking DSC1 or DSC2 training/ learning events. Failure to do so will render candidates liable for the full costs of training.
6.5. Candidates with FATF Grant awards must use the unique numbered coupon code, provided by GDM when booking/ ordering the DSC1 and or DSC2 learning events.
6.6. Following payment and booking via website GDM will register each candidate for DSC1 and or DSC2 at which point candidates become subject the para 6.7 and 6.8 below.
6.7. If a candidate/ applicant cancels a DSC1 or DSC2 learning event/ course with more than 5 working days notice of the learning event date, the applicant will be liable for the full cost of the course.
6.8. If a candidate/ applicant cancels a DSC1 or DSC2 learning event/ course with less than 5 working days notice of the learning event date GDM will claim the full grant funding for that candidate.
6.9. If a candidate failed to attend and or is late to the point that GDM judgement is that the event cannot go ahead effectively, GDM will claim the full costs as detailed in 6.8. NO further opportunity will be offered to a candidate.
6.10. The FATF grant funding awarded cost of the course(s) is paid directly to GDM.
6.11. Any course(s) booked by the applicant with GDM in advance of the grant award will not be eligible for grant funding and applicants will be liable for the full costs as detailed on the GDM website products pages for the DSC1 and or DSC2 courses.
6.12. DSC1 candidates will be provided with a single opportunity to undertake each of the summative assessments required for Certification. If for any reason candidates fail to achieve the competency required for any of the DSC1 summative assessments any further learning and or assessments required to achieve Certification will be entirely at the candidates expense. GDM will not fund any further assessments.
6.13. DSC2 candidates will be provided with a single opportunity to undertake an Individual Cull Record (ICR) summative assessment required for Certification. If for any reason candidates fail to achieve the competency required for full completion of that ICR summative assessment, any further learning and or assessments required to demonstrate competence and achieve DSC2 Certification will be entirely at the candidates expense.
6.14. If for any reason the funding body decides not to pay the grant funding, candidates who have booked and or attended training/ learning will be liable to pay the full cost of the course(s).
7. Faulty or Damaged Goods.
7.1. If you receive goods that are faulty or damaged, you have the right to request a repair, replacement, or refund.
7.2. You must notify us of any fault or damage immediately upon receipt and in any case within 5 days of receiving the goods.
7.3. GDM will cover the cost of returning agreed to be faulty or damaged goods.
8. Data Protection and Privacy.
8.1. We will use the personal information you provide to us to supply the goods, process your payment, and, if you agreed during the ordering process, to inform you about similar products or services.
8.2. We will only share your personal information with third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.
8.3. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
9. Limitation of Liability.
9.1. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expense arising out of or in connection with the sale of products or services.
9.2. Our liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with this agreement shall be limited to the total price of your order.
10 Governing Law.
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
